CoCo was Awarded Ohio Arts Council (OAC) Individual Excellence Award in Choreography / 2012.
A deep and heartfelt thank you to the OAC Board and all of the funding agencies and state legislators who support performing arts in Ohio.
I'm so honored and humbled by this award and will continue to do my best for dance and dance artists in our city and beyond. Most of all, I will continue to make, educate, research and advocate through the practice and performance of movement and dance.
CoCo Loupe holds a BFA (USM) & MFA (OSU) in Dance/Choreography. In the past 20 years she has been an ADF freak-a-zoid, and indie dance group dreamer, pick-up performer and a university educator. Her work has been performed all over the place but not everywhere. She lives in Columbus, OH and likes it. She works on websites everyday and makes dances when she can.
