"Truck Farm" & "The City Dark"

Filmmaker Ian Cheney, one of the costars and co-creators of the award-winning documentary King Corn, introduces two of his recent projects. A founding board members of Food Corps, Cheney is also contributing blogger for The Huffington Post.

Truck Farm follows an edible, mobile exhibit that brings a rural experience to urban students in the form of a 1986 Dodge pickup with a mini-farm planted in back. (48 mins., video)

In The City Dark, Cheney examines the problem of "light pollution" and the evolution of our relationship with the sky since the invention electricity. (84 mins., video)
