CATCO Presents The Rubenstein Kiss Feb. 1-19

Presented by CATCO-Phoenix

A combination of the Cold War and McCarthy hearings sets a tone for betrayal in the United States. Inspired by the true story of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, this powerful American premiere written by British playwright James Phillips winds through the mysterious corridors of history to reveal the anguish of a family and their yearning for justice.

In The Rubenstein Kiss, when Jakob and Esther Rubenstein are punished for an act of industrial espionage, the audience is left to decide if they are guilty or the victims of zealots. CATCO-Phoenix, home of CATCO and The Phoenix Theatre for Children, and Gallery Players, will co-present The Rubenstein Kiss in the Vern Riffe Center, Studio Two Theatre, 77 S. High St., Feb. 1-19, 2012.
