OSU Dance

The OSU Department of Dance is at the forefront of contemporary dance presenting professional level events for the Central Ohio public, encouraging active engagement with the art form through performances, lectures, special workshops and educational activities. Resident and visiting artists have international reputations and the dancers, selected from across the world, work deeply to advance the powerful art form of dance. Annual events include a December Resident and Visiting Artists Concert and a May “Dance Downtown”. Other events include a lecture series on dance history, criticism, aesthetics, and relationships to technology and popular culture. The department offers BFA, MFA, and PhD degree programs.
