New Albany Children's Ballet Theater

The New Albany Children's Ballet Theater is a 501c3 company that was formed in 2003, under the direction of Tara Miller owner and artistic director. The theater was formed to allow students to expand their ballet experience by performing in professional venues and to express themselves through the art of the characters and stories. The New Albany Children's Ballet Theater is the only youth ballet in Columbus who performs The Nutcracker. Typical events that the Theater holds are performances by the youth Ballet (The Nutcracker and Babes in Toyland) & fundraising activities such as a Father Daughter Ball which normally takes place at the New Albany Country Club or at the Wexner's Party Barn & a Character Breakfast with characters from The Nutcracker. Fundraising events help reduce burdens on the students and their families by providing funding for costumes, sets, props, rehearsals, and theater fees.
