Actors' Theatre of Columbus

Actors’ Theatre of Columbus has been staging performances of classical plays under the stars in Schiller Park in historic German Village for thirty years. The award-winning acting troupe originally focused on Shakespeare, but through the years expanded its repertoire to include other classical plays, more modern offerings, and, just recently, spring and fall performances in other venues. During the summer, audiences are encouraged to bring picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs to the amphitheater in Schiller Park ito enjoy the outdoor performances which begin at 8 p.m. every Thursday through Sunday night from Memorial Day to Labor Day. All performances are free, but donations are encouraged to help defray performance and operating costs.
